GHB FAQ: Is GBL illegal?
Is GBL illegal?

GBL is currently a "watched chemical," meaning that if you buy it from any U.S. merchant, the federal government will find out. This is problematic because of the concept of "intent to produce," which means that if you aren't an electronics manufacturer or someone else with an alibi for needing the chemical, you can be charged as if you'd used the GBL to produce GHB -- even if you don't have a gram of GHB on you.

GBL-containing drinks like Renewtrient might be safe, since it would be harder to use them in a synthesis. Still, you're at the mercy of the feds here. Next: What about all the GHB-related deaths?
