LINKS:

The (other) GHB FAQ: By the authors of a new, seminal volume on GHB, this FAQ treats many of the same issues as mine, but is less thoroughly annotated. On the other hand, it is quite valuable for its information on the FDA's machinations and the history of GHB.

Lycaeum: The Lycaeum is a startlingly diverse compendium of information from across the internet and (shudder) the Real World dealing with altered states of mind. Their GHB page is easy enough to find, but I'd be cheating you if I sent you directly there. Take this link to their main page, and enjoy the journey.

The Vaults of Erowid: Erowid takes the Lycaeum concept and stretches, stretches, stretches. Here you'll find information on all aspects of spirituality, from mantras and fasting to home-brewed LSD. They're a bit more difficult to navigate, though, so - if you insist - you can jump right to their GHB page. They make more information immediately available on issues like dosage and US law, but they also have quite a few links to resources you should probably ignore.

The Schaffer Drug Library: A wide-ranging collection of research, history, and public policy dealing with illegal drugs. A vital resource for anti-drugwar activists.

The DXM FAQ: DXM, a legal psychedelic, has nothing to do with GHB. I recommend this site to anyone who wants to see what good research and unbelievable dedication are like.

Joshua Baker's GHB abuse archive: Mr. Baker has collected a number of Usenet articles, most of which deal with GHB abuse. Be warned that these are the uncensored, unedited words of writers who may know a bit about GHB, but are rarely less crude or disorganized than the typical newsgroup posters.
Note: I am hosting this page on my site as a courtesy to Mr. Baker, who is no longer able to keep it online himself. The opinions expresed here are emphatically not mine.

Anya Shortridge's truth about GHB: A page by a woman who claims her son died following a GHB overdose. Opinions are split as to the veracity of this story, but her general statements about GHB are in the main unreasonable and deserve a refutation. The link above will place her testimony alongside my response; this one will take you to her page withou my yammering.

GHB Insight: A report from a family-oriented policy council. They make GHB look bad, but they seem to be sincere in their concern about our children. The research done for this paper is fairly respectable, but look out for bibliography padding...

Have I missed an important information source? Please tell me.
