The syrian rue can be powdered, if not already, and simmered in water with about %20-30 lemon juice or other acidic (citric acid?) juice for about half an hour. Strained and repeated another time, with the extract being combined in the end and cooked down to reasonable quantity if the volume is too large, not a huge amount of liquid is required. Generally 3 to 3.5 grams or it's equivalent in extract form is about an active dose per person, though it will vary between people depending on body weight and other factors.
Each person should take this dose slowly over about 30-45 minutes in order to lessen nausea and any body shock or discomfort. For people who don't want to drink a tea the syrian rue can be encapsulated, though it's probably best to have it as 3 or 4 caps over 30-45 minutes rather than all at once. Care should be taken, this is a potent plant and avoiding the taste can perhaps cause people to not be so aware of how much they consume until the effects are too strong for it to be comfortable.
After taking the syrian rue the effects should be felt within 10-20 minutes, with a distinct relaxation and seditive effect, and sometimes to a greater and lesser extent discomfort in the stomach, you may be sick. This is ok, either more syrian rue can be taken if it was felt that much of the dose was lost or that it is not active enough, or it can be left at that if you feel that enough if happening for you.
To use the leaves as a tryptamine source simply powder the dried phyllodes and treat the same as the syrian rue, simmering in acidic solution to extract the alkaloids. Unfortunately most acacia phyllodes are high in tannins and therefore the brews made from them can be extremely astringent if not terribly bitter. For acacia leaves it seems that it is from 20 grams upwards per person per dose, though much is dependant on the species and possibly other enviromental factors. A. Phlebophylla and A. Obtusifolia seem to be the species that this is most likely to work with at present, active brews are possible with this method though.
If using an alkaloid extract simply weigh out the required dose, 50-80 mg or so of DMT or equivalent as component of alkaloid extract, this may be hard to determine without some practice. Again strength should depend on bodyweight and tolerance, start on the lower side and increase doses if required. Dissolve in acidifed water and drink, for the most part the alkaloids dissolve completely and are almost undetectable when taken this way, care should be taken. Or can be put in capsules or made up into pills with other things, again dosage should be carefully determined. Effects may be felt from 15-30 minutes after ingestion, then building up, the effects of a single standard dose such as this lasting from 4-6 hours, depending on many factors. Give it some time before you go and take some more.
CAUTION - Smoking the acacia alkaloids whilst under the effects of Syrian rue can be overwhelming, increases activity of the smoked alkaloids by maybe three times. A generally awesome and not necesarily very pleasant experience, extreme nausea maybe and extended length of experience. Definetly not for the faint hearted.
Having to take the two drinks may be circumvented simply by dissloving the acacia alkaloid extract straight into the syrian rue extract, which will mean the overall effects come on a bit quicker, though more acacia alkaloids may be required as some may be metabolised before the MAO inhibiting effect of the beta-carbolines can take place.
